The Space Frontier Studio KIBO GREEN×EXPO 2027
“KIBO no Tane”
(Seeds of Hope)
As part of the “Kibo no Tane (Seeds of Hope) Project,” jointly promoted with the GREEN×EXPO 2027 Association, plant seeds known as “Kibo no Tane” and the official mascot character “Tunku Tunku” were launched in October 2025 from Tanegashima Space Center to the Japanese Experiment Module KIBO aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
During the program, Astronaut Kimiya Yui will unveil the Kibo no Tane that reached space, along with the official mascot Tunku Tunku, live from orbit.
